Hello, I'm Anshuman Raina.

I'm a Graduate student at Northeastern University with 4.5 years of professional software engineering experience.

I am also:

A Graduate Teaching Assistant for Programming Design, focusing on Design Patterns & Object-Oriented System Design.
A Research Developer at Vitek Lab, working towards my Master's Thesis (planned) related to MSstats, an open-source MS-based proteomics modeling library.

About Me

I thrive on challenge. I seek out work where I am forced to adapt, where I must learn something new. Routine is comfortable, but stagnation is unbearable.That is why, during my Master’s, my main focus is to explore as many technologies as I can. In the past year, I have delved into Quantum Computing, High Performance Computing, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Each has taught me something new, shaped the way I think, and forced me to sharpen skills I never knew I needed.

When I’m not coding, you’ll find me immersed in Fantasy and Magic, playing football or swimming, or lost in a Wikipedia rabbit hole about AI, history, and why we still don’t have flying cars.

Graduated from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, with major project on Using C++ for ML Algorithms, and minor project on leveraging Quantum Computing for decryption.

Software Developer : SDE 1

Noida, INDIA

Worked as a Software Developer, rotating in teams in Fixed Income Domain, developing Front and Back-office Trading solutions and providing client support.

2019 - 2022

Senior Software Developer : SDE 2

Hyderabad, INDIA

Worked on designing microservices from scratch on Golang, and became the primary SME of the feature. Integrated third party APIs and oversaw go-live to European markets.
